SURG is two founders and a team of engineers who genuinely enjoy manufacturing: the machines, the drawings, the Monday-morning plan. We build AI that makes it measurably better, running in our clients' plants on their own servers or in a secure cloud in the EU.
Why we started
Manufacturing is where we like to spend our time: on the shop floor, at the planner's desk, in the drawings. We started SURG in 2024 to bring AI there in a way that pays off – not as a presentation, but as systems people use every day.
Manufacturing needs people who understand how a quote is built, what a planner does on Monday morning and what happens when a station stops – and who then write the code that helps. So we scope the problem with you, build the system and stay until it runs on your own infrastructure. We measure ourselves by what changes for you: hours saved, quotes out faster, defects caught at the station.
In Czechia, large companies use AI almost twice as often as mid-sized ones. We build for the mid-sized.
Models are the easy part. The work is the data, the integration and the twenty edge cases the shop floor finds in week one.
A pilot that never leaves the laptop is a cost. We measure in hours saved and orders shipped, on live work.
The system runs on your servers or in a secure cloud in the EU, and your data never goes to a third party. No lock-in to us, and no lock-in to a platform.
The person in the first meeting is the person who builds it. Nothing is handed to a junior team after the contract is signed.
